Karina Canellakis returns to Europe for a succession of debuts

This month, Karina Canellakis returns to Europe for a succession of debuts with the Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg, Royal Scottish National Orchestra, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and Orchestre National de Lyon. Her programmes include symphonic repertoire by Andrew Norman, Grieg, Dvořák, Rachmaninov, Prokofiev, Ravel and Rimsky-Korsakov.

Her concerts in Luxembourg on 6 and 7 May feature Peter Maxwell Davies’ last completed work, the community opera The Hogboon, co-commissioned by the London Symphony Orchestra and Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg, and premiered by the LSO under Sir Simon Rattle last June.
