Kirill Karabits debuts with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra alongside Nicola Benedetti

Kirill Karabits kicks off his 2018-19 season this week by making his debut with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra. Conducting a programme of Silvestrov and Rachmaninov, he will also be joined on stage by violinist, Nicola Benedetti, for performances of Prokofiev Violin Concerto No 2. Kirill then returns to Europe to open his 10th season as Chief Conductor of the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra with Mahler’s monumental Symphony No 2. Future highlights then include a European tour with I Culture Orchestra, including his debut at the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg on the 25 October, before returning to North America for his debuts with Seattle and Cincinnati Symphony Orchestras.
