Kristian Bezuidenhout & Emmanuelle Haïm in Munich

This week Emmanuelle Haïm will make her debut with the Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks at the Herkulessaal in Munich, with Kristian Bezuidenhout as soloist. Kris will play-direct the Mozart Piano Concerto and Emmanuelle takes up the baton for the rest of the programme, with works including Handel’s Concerto Grosso and Water Music Suite No. 1 and Rameau’s Suite from Dardanus. The concerts will be on Thursday and Friday, with the second concert being broadcast live on BR-Klassik.

In the following weeks, Kris gives duo recitals with Rachel Podger in Seville, Oxford and Nottingham and solo recitals in Rotterdam, Homburg, Liege, Nancy and Barcelona before directing Bach St Matthew Passion from the harpsichord with Dunedin Consort in Perth, Glasgow and Edinburgh.
