On 19th June Dmitri Hvorostovsky’s spectacular open-air concert with Anna Netrebko on Moscow’s Red Square will be broadcast across Russia and Europe. “Live from Red Square” will include favourite arias by Verdi, Puccini, and Tchaikovsky, among others. For this exceptional event, Dmitri and Anna will be led by Constantine Orbelian, who will conduct the Russian State Academic Symphony Orchestra “Evgeny Svetlanov” and the Academic Grand Choir “Masters of Choral Singing.”
The concert is expected to be attended by an audience of 10,000, including Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“Live from Red Square” will be broadcast live across Russia beginning at 8:30pm Moscow time by RTR
and shown on a two-hour delay on ARTE across France
. Four days later on June 23, the concert will be shown during prime time by Germany’s ZDF

will broadcast the performance across the United Kingdom in October 2013, with cinecast details to be announced at a later date.
