Louis Langrée makes his Czech Philharmonic debut

This Friday, Louis Langrée makes his debut with the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra at the Prague Spring Festival. The programme includes Berlioz’s Les Francs-Juges overture, Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G major (with pianist Javier Perianes) and Franck’s Symphony in D minor. More information and tickets can be found on the Prague Spring Festival website.

After Prague, Louis returns to the USA for the Mostly Mozart Festival, of which he is Music Director, to conduct four programmes (including the Komische Oper production of Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte, directed by Barrie Kosky). The Festival opens on 10 July with the Mark Morris Dance Group, and Die Zauberflöte opens on 17 July with four performances in the David H. Koch Theater.
