This Friday and Saturday, Louis Langrée will make his debut with the Konzerthausorchester Berlin. The programme includes Debussy’s Prélude à l’après-midi d’un faune and Nocturnes (with the Vocalkonsort Berlin) and Schoenberg’s Pelleas und Melisande Op. 5. More information here.
Following this, Louis conducts the São Paulo Symphony Orchestra with two programmes in June that include Mozart Symphony No. 1, Beethoven’s Symphony No. 1 and Dukas The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, amongst other works. He will then travel to New York for the Mostly Mozart Festival, of which he is Music Director to conduct four programmes. The opening concerts of the festival are of the Bernstein Mass, staged by Elkhanah Pulitzer.
