Marta Gardolińska continues her collaboration with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra this week as she steps in to conduct an evening of Mozart and Tchaikovsky with pianist Ronald Brautigam. Concerts take place in Poole (20 February), Exeter (21 February) and Bristol (22 February).
Speaking about her relationship with the BSO – where she holds the position of Leverhulme Young Conductor in Association – Marta said in a recent interview: “The orchestra from the beginning were so friendly and open. I felt I could really experiment and just… work.”
Marta will return to the orchestra in May, uniting with cellist Johannes Moser for three performances of Hadyn’s recently-discovered C major cello concerto, along with works by Grieg, Leshnoff and Mozart.
