Maxim Mironov returns to Orphée et Eurydice at the Staatsoper Hamburg



Toi toi toi to Maxim Mironov who returns to the John Neumeier production of Gluck’s Orphée et Eurydice this weekend at the Hamburgische Staatsoper. The production, first launched at Lyric Opera Chicago and LA Opera in the 2017/18 season to critical acclaim, will also make an appearance at Baden-Baden at the beginning of the 2019/20 season.

This closes an exciting 2018/19 season for Maxim, who recently made his Teatre del Liceu debut as Lindoro in Italiana in Algeri and returned to the Berlin Staatsoper as Count Almaviva in Il barbiere di Siviglia. More highlights of the season included performances of Don Ramiro in La Cenerentola at Opera di Roma and at Teatro alla Scala, and Tonio in La fille du régiment at Teatro Comunale di Bologna.

Maxim will open his 2019/20 season at Teatro la Fenice in Il barbiere di Siviglia and in an Orphée et Eurydice revival at Festspielhaus Baden Baden, followed by Ernesto in Don Pasquale at New National Theatre Tokyo and Teatro Comunale di Firenze. Maxim returns to ROH Muscat as Riccardo Percy in Donizetti’s Anna Bolena, the Wiener Staatsoper in Italiana in Algeri and Opéra de Monte Carlo in the title role of Rossini’s Le comte Ory.
