We are delighted to announce the worldwide representation of young Lithuanian soprano Asmik Grigorian.
This season she has enjoyed great success at Theater an der Wien in Christof Loy’s new production of Tchaikovsky’s The Enchantress (Nastasja) conducted by Mikhail Tatarnikov, followed by Tatiana in Eugene Onegin at the Mikhailovsky Theatre St Petersburg, the title role in Madama Butterfly at the Royal Swedish Opera, the title role in Manon Lescaut in Riga, and Leonora in Il trovatore in Vilnius. Upcoming roles include Rachel in La Juive at the Vlaamse Opera, Judith in Bluebeards Castle at Staatstheater Wiesbaden and finally the title role in Madama Butterfly at Teatro dell’Opera di Roma. In concert she has sung the role of Tamara in Rubinsteins Demon at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow alongside Dmitri Hvorostovsky.
Future seasons will include Madama Butterfly and Fedora at the Royal Swedish Opera, Onegin at Komische Oper Berlin, The Makropulos Case at the Vlaamse Opera and Carmen at the Bregenz Festival.
