North American debuts for Alina

Alina Ibragimova is in North America, preparing for debut performances with two major orchestras. This week she is with the Boston Symphony Orchestra and Vladimir Jurowski playing an unusual double bill of Haydn’s Violin Concerto in C, paired with Karl Hartmann’s ‘Concerto Funebre’ (18, 19 & 20 February). Next week, Alina travels on to Montréal to join the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal for three performances of the Beethoven Violin Concerto, conducted by Kent Nagano (24 & 25 February).
On returning to Europe, Alina turns her attention to the Schumann Concerto, first with the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra (2 March) and then the Scottish Chamber Orchestra with Robin Ticciati (10, 11 & 12 March).
