This weekend, Claus Guth’s eagerly-awaited new production of La bohème opens at the Opéra de Paris. Gustavo Dudamel conducts a stellar cast including Aida Garifullina as Musetta, Nicole Car as Mimì, Benjamin Bernheim as Rodolfo and Andrey Zhilikhovsky as Schaunard.

Earlier this year they played the ill-fated lovers in the new Richard Jones production of La bohème at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden and will both reprise the roles once more later in the season; Nicole at the Dresden Semperoper, and Benjamin again at Covent Garden.
