    Mark joined Lies Askonas as a Director in May 1994, becoming a Director of Askonas Holt in December 1998, and succeeding to Executive Director in January 2014. Born in Cambridge and educated at Kings College, University of London BMus and AKC, Mark has been working as an artist manager since 1984. He has managed many major artists including Dmitri Hvorostovsky, Maxim Vengerov, Boris Berezovsky, Frans Brüggen, Angela Gheorghiu, Elīna Garanča, and for more than 25 years has had a very close collaboration with artists from the Russian Federation, Ukraine, Belarus and the Republics of Armenia and Georgia. Mark enjoys time in Italy in the sun with good food and wine.

    Imogen studied Music at St John’s College Oxford where she was a Choral Scholar for three years. Following her studies, she moved to Stuttgart, Germany to study singing and improve her German. Upon returning home, Imogen began her career in arts administration in the A&R department of Decca Classics before moving to Askonas Holt in September 2013 as an Assistant Artist Manager working across all departments for singers, directors, instrumentalists and conductors. In her spare time, Imogen enjoys the theatre, collecting cookery books and going on cold winter walks.

    Henry studied at the Purcell School of Music before winning a scholarship to the Royal Academy of Music where he received a first-class honours degree. As a tuba player, Henry worked with many of the world’s finest conductors and gave solo performances at the Wigmore Hall and on BBC television. Among his more memorable concerts was a performance given from the main stage at Glastonbury. Henry joined Askonas Holt in 2013 and enjoys a busy and dynamic work life in the singers and conductors departments. Henry’s passions outside work are good food, motorbiking and keeping fit – this summer he and a small team from AH will complete their first triathlon!

    Tim was born in Essex and studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. After a career as a singer in opera and musical theatre, he joined Askonas Holt in 1994. He now lives in Cambridgeshire with two cats and three chickens.

    Paul’s love of music started at the tender age of six, when he starred as a child extra at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, selling flowers in Götz Friedrich’s La bohème, which premiered on Christmas Day 1988. He was also a boy soprano in Berlin’s “Mozart Chor”. After completing his studies he moved to Belfast for almost two years to volunteer for the “Simon Community Northern Ireland”, working with the homeless. In 2006 he completed training as a “European Secretary” and returned to the music industry after a short stint in the steel industry, finally joining Askonas Holt in 2007.

    Having graduated with a first-class degree in Music and the award for excellence in eighteenth century studies from Queen’s University Belfast, Nathan subsequently trained as an opera singer in Dublin and London, joining English National Opera’s Opera Works in 2015. A former Young Associate Artist with Opera Theatre Company, and an alumnus of the Christine Collins Young Artist Programme at Opera Holland Park, Nathan is interested in literature, architecture, and becoming a better cook. Nathan joined Askonas Holt in 2017 and enjoys working with some of the world’s finest singers.

    Born in Cardiff, Sue studied piano at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and graduated with an MA in music from Jesus College, Oxford. She began her career in Germany, working as an au pair, ballet pianist and teacher. On returning to the UK she worked in the concerts department at the Philharmonia Orchestra and as A&R Manager at BMG Classics before joining Lies Askonas as an Artist Manager for singers in 1996. She was appointed to the Board in 2007. She has two young children and enjoys Evensong, Netflix and holidays in Wales.

    Assistant Artist Manager & EA to Donagh Collins

    Kate started working for Askonas Holt in January 2017 as Executive Assistant to the CEO and Office Manager, becoming Assistant Artist Manager in Spring the same year. Kate studied Music at Trinity College Dublin, graduating with a BA in Music in 2014. While at Trinity, Kate was very involved in some of the college’s musical societies; Trinity College Singers, Boydell Singers, and Trinity Orchestra. Since graduating, she has interned and worked for various music labels, companies, and festivals in Dublin and London. In her spare time, Kate loves playing the piano, going to gigs & music festivals, and travelling.
