Rodion Pogossov makes role debut as Enrico Ashton

Toi toi toi to baritone Rodion Pogossov who makes his eagerly anticipated role debut as Enrico Ashton in Donizetti’s Lucia di Lammermoor at Oper Graz this Saturday 23 March.

This continues a highly successful season for Rodion, which has seen a house debut at La Monnaie, Brussels for Malatesta in Don Pasquale, a recital of Russian Song with Iain Burnside at the Wigmore Hall, and a return to Teatro Municipal de Santiago for Figaro in Il barbiere di Siviglia.

Next, Rodion returns to Seattle Opera for Escamillo in Carmen, and joins the Komische Oper at the Mostly Mozart Festival in Die Zauberflöte under Louis Langrée.

Lucia di Lammermoor opens this Saturday 23 March, and Rodion features in eight further performances on 28, 31 March, 3, 7 April, 22, 25 May, 2 and 14 June. For tickets and further information, please visit the Oper Graz website.
