Rosa Feola wins Best Female in an Opera Production

Congratulations to Rosa Feola who has won the ‘Best Female in an Opera Production’ category at the Wales Theatre Awards 2016.
The awards ceremony was held on Saturday evening in Cardiff and is an annual event which celebrates quality in theatre, opera and dance in Wales. Each year the awards are chosen by a range of arts critics working across the media in Wales. Rosa’s award is for her outstanding performances as Elvira in ‘I Puritani’ with the Welsh National Opera. This accolade comes shortly after her most recent award from the What’s On Stage Opera Poll 2016 for ‘Outstanding Achievement in an Operatic Role’ for the same production.
We also congratulate Rebecca Evans who was nominated in the same category for her performances in WNO’s production of ‘Orlando’.
