Sarah Connolly returns to Covent Garden to sing Brangäne in ‘Tristan und Isolde’

Sarah Connolly returns to the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden as Brangäne this December, in performances of Tristan und Isolde conducted by Sir Antonio Pappano. Stephen Gould is Tristan, Nina Stemme sings Isolde and John Tomlinson is King Marke.
Following her enormous success in the house as Fricka two seasons ago, Sarah’s Brangäne is hotly anticipated by London audiences.  Sarah has already enjoyed success in the role at the Glyndebourne Festival and in concert performances in Paris and Madrid and at the BBC Proms. She will sing the role next at the Festspielhaus in Baden-Baden and in concert performances with the Berlin Philharmonic and Sir Simon Rattle.
