Yesterday, Gramophone magazine announced the 72-strong shortlist for the 12 disc categories at the 2016 Gramophone Classical Music Awards.

We’re thrilled to see 28 Askonas Holt artists involved in 22 of the shortlisted recordings! A full list of recordings featuring AH artists is below.

You can read reviews of all the shortlisted recordings in Gramophone’s free digital magazine, available here. The top three recordings in each category will be revealed in the September issue, on sale on 12 August, and the category winners will be revealed on 22 August.

The disc awards will be presented on 15 September 2016 in London, along with the four Special Awards. The shortlist for Artist of the Year was announced earlier this year, and includes Vilde Frang, Alina Ibragimova and Yevgeny Sudbin.
