Sir András Schiff makes his North American conducting debut

Sir András Schiff is about to embark on a month-long tour of the US and Canada, which will include a mixture of recital and play-direct programmes. 
He continues with The Last Sonatas, a recital series comprising the final three sonatas of Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven and Schubert with performances in San Francisco’s Davies Symphony Hall, Disney Hall Los Angeles, Strathmore Hall Washington, New York’s Carnegie Hall, Seattle, Santa Barbara, Kansas City, Montréal and Chicago Symphony Hall.
Sir András will also make his North American conducting debut with the San Francisco Symphony and Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestras in a series of concerts which will see him play direct Mozart’s Piano Concerto no. 27 K95, conduct Haydn’s Nelson Mass and collaborate with Anna Lucia Richter in a selection of Schubert Lieder.
