Stellar Six take bite out of Big Apple

New York, New York

No fewer than six AH conductors are enjoying the build up to the festive season in New York this December with Harry Bicket, Daniel Harding, Louis Langrée, Yannick Nézet-Seguin, Yves Abel and Robin Ticciati all appearing on podiums throughout the City.

On the concert platform, Harding is currently working with the New York Philharmonic in two contrasting programmes – Mahler 10 this week with the Rite of Spring next. Meanwhile across at The Metropolitan Opera: Nézet-Seguin has opened a new production of Faust to rave reviews across the States; Bicket’s leadership in Rodelinda and Langrée’s success with both Bohème and Don Giovanni have all made the headlines; Yves Abel is deep in rehearsals for La Fille du Regiment which opens on December 12th; and Ticciati is currently putting the finishing touches to Hansel and Gretel  for his MET debut on the 16th.You can almost smell the gingerbread (latte)… can’t you?

Bravo tutti!
