Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra | Edinburgh International Festival | August 2017
Aug 2017 - Aug 2017

Introduction

The Bergen Philharmonic come to this year’s Edinburgh International Festival, giving two performances at the Usher Hall – in a star-studded line-up with Chief Conductor Edward Gardner.

On Saturday 12 August, the orchestra perform an all-orchestral programme of Wagner, Grieg and Elgar.

On Sunday 13 August, after the success of this year’s performance at the Bergen Festival, the Orchestra join forces with their own Chorus and the Edvard Grieg Kor, to bring to life in a concert version, Benjamin Britten’s epic Peter Grimes.
