Introduction

This March, Music Director Designate Jaap van Zweden will, together for the first time, lead the New York Philharmonic to Asia.

Askonas Holt is delighted to bring the ensemble, alongside Beijing-born pianist Yuja Wang and Japanese-American violinist Ryu Goto, for two concerts at the National Center for the Performing Arts, Beijing. Programmes include Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring and Mahler’s Symphony No. 5.
