Philadelphia Orchestra, Hong Kong 2016
May 2016 - May 2016

Introduction

The Philadelphia Orchestra undertakes a mini Hong Kong residency in May 2016, the highlight of which will be two concerts at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre under the baton of their own Music Director, Yannick Nézet-Séguin.

The concerts will mark the orchestra’s very first performances in Hong Kong and with them they will bring spectacular programmes including Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade and Bruckner’s Symphony No. 4.

This mini-residency will also include chamber performances and masterclasses at the Hong Kong Academy as part of the Philadelphia Orchestra’s world-renowned outreach work.
