Over two weeks in October, the Simón Bolívar Youth Orchestra of Venezuela led by Gustavo Dudamel will tour to a selection of Europe´s most prestigious venues including Konzerthaus in Vienna, Teatro alla Scala in Milan and Salle Pleyel in Paris. This European visit is to be followed by a trip to Toronto, where the SBYO will have a week-long residency and will perform in its Canadian debut to celebrate the awarding of the Glenn Gould Prize to its founder and director, Maestro José Antonio Abreu. In addition to a concert with Gustavo Dudamel and a number of activities and events, the SBYO will also offer a second concert at the Rogers Centre, where it will be led by young Venezuelan conductors. A rare opportunity not to be missed.
