The Vienna Philharmonic returns to London this summer for its biennial trip to the BBC Proms, giving concerts on 3 and 4 September.
On 3 September, Bernard Haitink will conduct Bruckner Symphony No. 7 in E major and Beethoven Piano Concerto No. 4 in his 90th Proms performance. Soloist Murray Perahia returns to the festival for the first time since 2012. Then, on 4 September, Andrés Orozco-Estrada leads a programme of Dvořák and Korngold with violinist Leonidas Kavakos.
The performances continue our long association with the orchestra, following BBC Proms appearances in 2017, 2015, 2013, 2012 and 2009, and multiple tours to Scandinavia.
