This year’s festival in the Swiss Alps brings together four diverse AH artists for two weeks of glorious music.
Stanislav Kochanovsky returns to Verbier for the third consecutive year, once again leading the Verbier Festival Junior Orchestra in an opera in concert performance. Verbier regular Sir András Schiff will give several performances across the season, including a solo recital of Bach’s The Well-Tempered Clavier, Book I ; a duo recital with Renaud Capuçon; and Bartók Piano Concertos Nos. 1 and 3 with the Verbier Festival Chamber Orchestra and Gábor Takács-Nagy. Sir András will also share his vast experience with the next generation of pianists through masterclasses on 29 and 31 July.
Cellist Jian Wang will also be imparting his knowledge through five masterclasses with members of the Verbier Festival Academy.
