Vilde Frang makes her Berliner Philharmoniker subscription debut

This week sees Vilde Frang give her highly anticipated Berliner Philharmoniker subscription debut. Conducted by Iván Fischer, Vilde will give three concerts on 20, 21 and 22 December performing Bartok’s Violin Concerto No.1 at the Philharmonie Berlin. The final concert will also be streamed live as part of the orchestra’s Digital Concert Hall series.

Following a run of highly successful concerts, including performances with the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra conducted by Rafael Payare, a German tour with the CBSO conducted by Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla, and the Philharmonia conducted by Esa-Pekka Salonen, this season also sees Vilde give a tour of the US performing with the Seattle Symphony, Pittsburgh Symphony, and the Los Angeles Philharmonic in the New Year. Other future highlights for this season include returns to the BBC Symphony Orchestra with Sakari Oramo as well as to the Berliner Philharmoniker, the Stockholm Philharmonic and the Concertgebouworkest.
