Fresh from a highly successful performance for the season opening with the Oslo Philharmonic, this week sees Vilde Frang join the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra for their European Summer Tour.
Performing Bruch’s Violin Concerto No. 1 in G minor, Vilde will be joined on stage by conductor Lahav Shani. Giving five concerts, the tour sees Vilde perform at Die Glocke Bremen (24 August), the Gstaad Festival (25 August), Auditorium Palacongressi Rimini (3 September), and Teatro Filarmonico Verona (5 September). Vilde will end the tour with a return to the Lucerne Festival on 7 September. You can find more information about all performances during the tour here.
Other upcoming highlights for Vilde’s 2019/20 season include highly anticipated debuts with the Bayerische Staatsorchester, Les Siècles and London Symphony Orchestra with Sir Antonio Pappano. She will also give performances with the Tonhalle Orchester Zürich, Cleveland Orchestra, Deutsches Symphonie Orchester Berlin, the BBC Symphony Orchestra as well as the Budapest Festival Orchestra with Sir Mark Elder.
