Yevgeny Sudbin joins Askonas Holt

We are delighted to announce that pianist Yevgeny Sudbin has joined our roster for general management.
Reviewing his latest recording (Beethoven’s Piano Concerto no.3 and Mozart Piano Concerto no.24 with the Minnesota Orchestra and Osmo Vänskä on BIS Records) Pizzicato writes:
‘Yevgeny Sudbin is one of the most sensitive pianists of our time and his Mozart Concerto is accordingly moving.  He is not only in a constant dialogue with the orchestra, there seems to be also some inner voice interfering in his playing, so that the performance becomes exciting beyond measure.  Beethoven’s Third Concerto is no less interesting.  We admire especially the vivid and colorful playing of the Minnesota Orchestra.’
In addition to a prominent recording profile which includes a 14-album collaboration with BIS Records, Yevgeny also performs regularly on some of the world’s finest stages.  Conductors with whom he has collaborated include Neeme Järvi, Charles Dutoit, Vladimir Ashkenazy, Osmo Vänskä, Tugan Sokhiev, Mark Wigglesworth and Andrew Litton.
Future highlights include North American tours, national Australian tours with the Australian Chamber Orchestra and Asia with Singapore Symphony Orchestra, concerts and recordings with the BBC Symphony with Sakari Oramo, as well as extensive recital touring.
For more information, please visit Yevgeny’s page on this website or contact Charlotte Yuen or Jilly Clarke.
