About Lucie

Winner of the 2023 Victoires de la Musique Classique ‘Révélation, Conductor’ award, Lucie Leguay makes a string of major debuts across the 2023/24 season, including Orchestre de Paris, Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, WDR Sinfonieorchester, MDR Sinfonieorchester, Janáček Philharmonic Ostrava and Orquesta de Córdoba.

Having established relationships across Europe, Lucie makes returns to Orchestre du Capitole de Toulouse, Orchestre Philharmonique Royal de Liège and Ensemble Modern, and regularly works with Orchestre National de Lille, Orchestre National de Lyon, Münchner Symphoniker, Ensemble Intercontemporain, Orchestre de Chambre de Genève and Brussels Philharmonic.

On the operatic stage, this season Lucie will conduct Poulenc’s Les Mamelles de Tiresias and Stravinsky’s Rossignol at Opéra de Nice, as well as a revival of Carmen Case at Opera de Bordeaux, following performances at Théâtre de la Ville de Luxembourg. Last season Lucie led a production of Johann Strauss’ Die Fledermaus in Paris in collaboration with the CNSM and the Philharmonie de Paris.

In 2021 Lucie was appointed as Assistant Conductor of Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France. Also regularly conducting the orchestra in concert, this season Lucie makes her Festival Présence debut closing the festival with a project with Steve Reich.
