Appearing regularly at the finest opera houses and festivals, Kristine Opolais enjoys a close association with the Metropolitan Opera, Wiener Staatsoper, Deutsche Staatsoper Berlin, Bayerische Staatsoper, Teatro alla Scala, Opernhaus Zürich and the Royal Opera House Covent Garden.

Having collaborated with conductors including Daniel Barenboim, Sir Antonio Pappano, Sir Simon Rattle, Sir Mark Elder, Daniel Harding, Andris Nelsons, Fabio Luisi, Kirill Petrenko and Semyon Bychkov, Kristine has established a reputation as one of the world’s pre-eminent singing actresses, combining lustrous tone and fierce dramatic intensity.

Her extensive discography is testament to her artistry on both the operatic stage and concert platform.

This season, Kristine appeared in a Gala Concert at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, conducted by Antonio Pappano , will sing the title role of Rusalka at the Wiener and Bayerische Staatsoper will appear as Tosca at the Semperoper Dresden.

In 2016, Kristine was presented with the Order of the Three Stars, the highest State Honour awarded by her native Latvia.
