Domingo Hindoyan makes his Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra debut



This Thursday, 27 June, Domingo Hindoyan will lead the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra for the first time with Beethoven’s momentous Symphony No. 7, preceded by Weber’s Der Freischutz Overture and Mozart Piano Concerto No. 21 with soloist Jeremy Denk.

This concert marks the last of Domingo’s symphonic performances this season, following engagements with l’Orchestre de chambre de Paris, Bruckner Orchester Linz, Orchestre Philharmonique de Monte-Carlo, Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg, Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra, Orquesta Filarmonica de Gran Canaria, among others.

Domingo’s season on the opera stage has featured performances at Lyric Opera of Chicago (La bohème), Wiener Staatsoper (Turandot), Staatsoper Berlin (Tosca), Royal Swedish Opera (Aida), and he closes his season by debuting at Liceu Barcelona with Verdi’s Luisa Miller.

Looking ahead to next season, Domingo begins his tenure as the Principal Guest Conductor of the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra. Further highlights include appearances with the  Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, MDR Leipzig Radio Symphony Orchestra, Malmo Symphony Orchestra, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, Shanghai & Guangzhou Symphony Orchestras, Malmo Symphony Orchestra, Mozarteumorchester Salzburg, Wiener Staatsoper and Royal Swedish Opera.
