Etienne Dupuis makes his Bayerische Staatsoper debut as Figaro in ‘Il barbiere di Siviglia’



Etienne Dupuis makes his house debut at Bayerische Staatsoper this week as Figaro in Rossini’s much-loved Il barbiere di Siviglia. Etienne is joined by Peter Rose as Basilio, who returns to Munich after many successful seasons there including Die Entführung aus dem Serail and Der fliegende Holländer.

Etienne recently made his house debut at Teatro Real Madrid as Marcello La bohème and early next season will make his debut at the Metropolitan Opera in New York. He will soon return to the Deutsche Oper Berlin to sing Valentin Faust and Posa Don Carlo and will make multiple returns to the Opéra de Paris.

Peter will return to Munich later this season to reprise his exceptional Baron Ochs Der Rosenkavalier, will make his role debut as Goryanchikov From the House of the Dead and will return to the Bayreuth Festival as Daland in Der fliegende Holländer.
