Evan Rogister makes his Metropolitan Opera debut conducting ‘The Magic Flute’

This month, Evan Rogister makes his long-awaited Metropolitan Opera debut, conducting the English-language family version of Mozart’s The Magic Flute alongside a cast including Nathan Gunn, Kathryn Lewek, Greg Fedderly and Hanna-Elisabeth Müller. These performances follow a hugely successful debut with Malmö Symphony Orchestra, and takes Evan into 2018 where he will begin the New Year with a return to the Deutsche Oper Berlin for Richard Strauss’ Salome.

Evan began his 2017/18 season at the Washington National Opera conducting Aida and, looking further ahead this season, will be conducting Eugene Onegin at the Royal Swedish Opera.

Performances of The Met’s The Magic Flute will take place on 25 and 30 November, 4, 7 and 9 December. More information here.
