Rosa Feola returns to Lewes to sing her first Glyndebourne Susanna in ‘Le nozze di Figaro’, opening on Sunday 3 July. Jonathan Cohen conducts the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment in this 2012 revival of Michael Grandage’s 60’s-style production which runs until the end of August.
Jonathan will then begin his first season as an Artistic Partner for the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, as well as making his BBC Proms debut with his ensemble Arcangelo at the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse (13 August).
Rosa last performed with Glyndebourne in the 2014 tour of ‘La finta giardiniera’ and will too make her BBC Proms debut this summer with Le Cercle de l’Harmonie conducted by Jérémie Rhorer (22 July).
‘Le nozze di Figaro’ runs at Glyndebourne from 3 July to 24 August. For more information and tickets, see the Glyndebourne website.
