“…more than good. It is brilliant. This is utterly assured writing, clever, effective, dazzling, complex yet awfully easy to listen to.”
Financial Times, July 2016

This weekend, Thomas Adès critically acclaimed production, The Exterminating Angel, receives its highly anticipated US premiere at the Metropolitan Opera following its debut at the Salzburg Festival, which the New York Times hailed “inventive and audacious … a major event” (July 2016), and UK premiere last season at the Royal Opera House.
