Vilde Frang makes multiple debuts in concerts across Europe

Marking the start of a busy few weeks in Europe, Vilde Frang returns to the BBC Symphony Orchestra, performing Britten’s Violin Concerto under the baton of Sakari Oramo, for three concerts in both the UK and Switzerland. Their first performance this Wednesday will be Vilde’s debut at London’s Barbican Centre, and will also be broadcast live on BBC Radio 3. They will then perform at the Tonhalle, Zurich on 24 March, and Victoria Hall, Geneva on 26 March.

Vilde will then give a concert at the Festspielhaus Baden-Baden, where she will join the Berliner Philharmoniker and Iván Fischer to perform Bartók’s Violin Concerto No.1.

Continuing her tour of Europe, Vilde will make her highly anticipated debut with the Orchestra Mozart under the baton of Bernard Haitink in Lugano on 4 April, where she will perform Mozart’s Violin Concerto No. 5 at the Sala Teatro in Lugano.

Performing the same concerto in Amsterdam on 6 April, Vilde will make yet another debut; with the Concertgebouworkest and Trevor Pinnock. She then returns to the Orchestra Mozart and Haitink for a concert at the Orchestra Mozart Festival at the Teatro Auditorium Manzoni, Bologna on 8 April.
