Adam Brady

Associate Artist Manager
Headshot of Adam Brady

Adam joined Askonas Holt in April 2019 after graduating from the University of Edinburgh with an MSc in Theatre and Performance Studies. Prior to this, Adam completed an MA(Hons) in English Literature at the University of Dundee, graduating with First Class Honours. An opera lover, Adam devoted his time at university to researching various aspects of the art form; including Verdi’s continuation of the 19th century bel-canto aesthetic and Richard Strauss’ influence on early 20th century Austrian modernism. As an accordionist and a pianist, Adam has built a strong relationship with the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society. With this charity, he has travelled across the UK, Europe, USA, Canada, Japan, Australia and New Zealand championing Scottish music. In 2013, he was invited to perform for a private audience for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. In his spare time, Adam enjoys cooking, reading, travelling, searching for good coffee and hearing as much live music as possible.
